"Looking forward in about 10 years [2017], we’ll be able to take a man with prostate cancer, do a CT scan, crosslink that with the robot, and the evening before the surgery I do a dry run on a recreated computerized model. I’ll do a perfect surgery the next day.

To take it even further, at some point, that robot will take that same computerized model and the robot will calculate exactly where I’m going to cut, how I’m going to cut and it may even prevent me from cutting certain areas if it thinks it’s not safe, if I’m going to run into bleeding or ... something like that. That’s just the future, no question about it."
