This is a profound statement. One that many people would be clueless as to its meaning. Our culture has failed to educate people about the reality of the situation we are in.

If we continue our present course we will do the crash test , and it will not be pleasant.

Many life enhancing and interesting possibilities exist to create a good culture.
The politicians with their appeal to the lowest way to think are working to destroy us now.

There is not a political solution to the current problems. Politics is actually a major negative part of the problem.
We no longer need a political system.
We need a science based meritocracy of leadership.
